Dear Parishioners,
The mission statement for Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church speaks of being a “welcoming community”. One way to live out this part of our mission statement is to welcome new parishioners to the parish.
Currently, our Pastoral Council is working on forming a committee to welcome new parishioners through emails, phone calls, or texts. Furthermore, the council is looking for more volunteers. The goal is to have at least one volunteer in each zip code in Frederick County and the surrounding areas. In this way, those who are new to our parish can be welcomed by someone in their area.
