From our Respect Life Ministry:
Nine months ago we encouraged everyone in the parish to pray for unborn babies that might be at risk of abortion. The idea was to “spiritually adopt” these unborn babies, and pray for them throughout the nine months they were in the womb. We want to thank you for all your prayers through our spiritual adoption efforts.
I know we have made a difference in the lives of the babies all over the world. Please join us in celebrating the birth of those babies for whom we have been praying. We will be collecting “birthday presents” (donation of newborn clothes & supplies) that we can give to CareNet in Frederick for new mothers and babies in need. We also will be providing “Happy Birthday” cupcakes at the Social Justice table in the Narthex after each Mass this weekend. Please drop by to show your support.
