The Katharine Konnection Adult Faith Formation Opportunities |
Dear Parishioners, I just wanted to remind you about the two adult formation opportunities starting up next month that are taking registrations right now and to let you know about another opportunity that is ongoing that you might want to check out. - Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life (REGISTRATION CLOSES 30 JAN): (10 week zoom video series beginning the first week of February and running through the first week of April). Filmed on location in the Holy Land the video series, Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life is a new and fresh look at Jesus—who he is, what he is really like, what he taught, and what he did for our salvation. This encounter with Christ will inspire and empower you to center your entire life on him as you come to know and love him in an ever-deeper and more intimate way. The videos for the series are available online and our weekly meetings for discussion will be held on Zoom. We are planning to run two groups, one on Tuesday at 10:30AM and another on Thursday at 7:00PM. The cost for the study is $30 for access to the videos and the accompanying book. - Acts of the Apostles: (8 week zoom book study beginning the first week of February and running through March 23). Join us as we explore the second book of Luke’s Gospel, the Acts of the Apostles, as he tells of the journey of Jewish and Gentile communities to become Church. - Zoom scripture study: Each Tuesday evening at 7:00 a group of parishioners meet to discuss the upcoming weekend’s lectionary readings. This is a nice way to begin reflecting on the readings before we hear them at Mass. The zoom link is the same for each session.
