Bring your lawn chair or blanket to enjoy a nice relaxing evening. We will have a food concession with wine and accompaniments!
Music will be provided by Northside Blues and Rock Band. The band members include two parishioners of Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, Mike Nunez (bass and vocals) and Tom Pianta (drums and vocals). The third member, John Dunbar (guitar and vocals), lives in Gaithersburg. The group has been playing together for three years focusing mainly on blues and adding rock favorites from the 70s and 80s. Covered artists include Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, Bad Company, Rolling Stones, Doobie Brothers just to name a few.
