Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today is a special holiday! I’m speaking of course of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, also known as Candlemas (sorry groundhog). Today we mark the child Jesus being presented at the Temple. Simeon who was in the Temple and saw Mary and Joseph presenting Jesus proclaimed that Jesus was destined for the fall and rise of many. As we get ready for the start of the season of Lent this month we will be reflecting on the ways that Jesus has raised us up.
