We strongly encourage all of our adult parishioners to consider joining one of our Lenten mini-courses. This year they will be offered on five consecutive Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00PM on March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. A nursery will be offered during the mini-course sessions, and families with school aged children currently registered for homestudy or FIRE are able to also sign their children up to attend grade level classes at the same times during which they will participate in our parish Family Life curriculum. Getting the Most Out of Mass
This series will provide an overview of the liturgical year, how we can best prepare ourselves for Mass during the week, ways we can deepen our experience of the Mass while at church and an opportunity to explore the richness of both the Liturgy of the Word (the readings we hear) and the Liturgy of the Eucharist (our sharing of communion). As important as our celebration of Mass each weekend is, wouldn’t it be great to get the most out of it?
Conversion (Video series featuring Bishop Barron)
Part of our call during the season of Lent is a call to conversion, to turn of all our attention and energy toward an ever deeper, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In this film and study program, Bishop Robert Barron illuminates biblical stories of conversion, demonstrating how ordinary people, just like you, were met by Jesus where they were and called to a better life through him.
Scripture Study: The Sunday Readings
Through guided discussion you will gain a better understanding of sacred scripture. The focus will be providing a deeper understanding of the Sunday readings and the background in which they were lived and written. With time for discussion, we will consider how God’s Word can impact our everyday lives today.
