Adult Faith Formation
Staff Contact: Brian McCrohan, Pastoral Associate
We believe that all believers are called to life long faith formation, that the journey begun at our Baptism continues through every stage of life. We truly belive in building a culture of formation within our parish. Because of this belief, our core faith formation programs (TGIF, FIRE, and Homestudy) each address the needs of our adults for formation, as well as the needs of our children and youth.
During our TGIF program adults either participate in a general session in which a speaker enlightens and engages us on a particular topic, or join a small group breakout on a specific area of interest. During our FIRE program, adults, youth, and children all learn about the same topic, deepening their faith through the example they see in each other. During our Homestudy program, parents are formed as they lead their children through the material provided for them.
Our adult formation does not end there though. Through ministries like our Bensalem Groups, regular Bible studies, Kate's Cinema, and special events throughout the year, our adults are offered opportunities to continue to deepen their faith and learn how they can live that faith in their daily lives.
